Simplicity Knit Beanie Knit Pattern

Simplicity Knit Beanie Knit Pattern

3 minute read

I am so excited to share my first knit pattern, the Simplicity Knit Beanie.  This beanie is a project that you will not be able to put down.  I designed this beanie because my husband Eric asked for a knit beanie.  Every year I have always crocheted him a new beanie and this year, he asked me to knit him a knit beanie after I discovered my love for knitting socks and now for knitting beanies!

Materials

·        Yarn: DK, Weight 3; Leither Co. Black Flame

·        Yardage: 231 yards

·        Needle Size: US 6/4mm

·        **I used 16” Circular and Double Pointed

·        Tapestry Needle, Scissors, Measuring Tape and Stitch Marker

Sizing

·        Gauge: 5 knit stitches = 1”

·        Adult Size: 20” Circumference and 8” long.

Pattern Key

·        CO: Cast on

·        St(s): Stitch/es

·        K: Knit

·        P: Purl

·        K2tog: Knit two together

Notes

·        The beanie is worked in rounds, I recommend using a stitch marker to mark your first stitch of the round.
