- Hook: K (6.50mm)
- Tapestry Needle, Scissors and Measuring Tape
Sizing
- Gauge: 12 Double Crochet and 7 Rows = 4”x4”
Pattern Key
- St/Sts: Stitch(es)
- Ch: Chain
- Dc: Double Crochet
- RS: Right Side
Special Stitches:
- BPDC (Back Post Double Crochet): Yarn over, insert hook from the back to front around post of stitch (from right to left), yarn over & pull up a loop, yarn over & pull through 2 loops, yarn over & pull through the last 2 loops.
- FPDC (Front Post Double Crochet): Yarn over, insert hook under post of stitch (from right to left), yarn over & pull up a loop, yarn over & pull through 2 loops, yarn over & pull through the last 2 loops.

Row 2: Ch 3 and turn, *skip the next 2 dc, (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc) in ch 1 sp, skip next 2 dc, bpdc in next st; repeat from*, until the last 3 sts, skip the next 2 dc, 1 dc in last st. - 94 dc & 22 bpdc
