The Flower Bonnet is a beautiful bonnet to make for little girls. One things I love about this design is that it can be customized in any way that you like and flowers are gorgeous no matter what. This crochet pattern uses two strands of yarn at once, so this design is super quick to work up. This design also uses simple crochet stitches with just a little bit of sewing. - Yarn Note: The Bonnet and Petals are worked 2 strands at the same time.

Round 1: Ch 1, 7 sc in loop, join with a sl st in the 1st sc, pull tight. - 7
Round 2: Ch 1, 1 hdc in same st, 2 hdc in each st around, end with 1 hdc in same st as ch 1, join. - 14
Round 3: Ch 1, 1 hdc in same st, 1 hdc in next st, *2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in next st; repeat from*, end with 1 hdc in same st as ch 1, join. - 21

Petals (Make about 6-12)

Fasten off and leave a long tail to sew the petals onto the bonnet.
Sewing the Petals onto the Bonnet
When sewing the petals onto the bonnet, start sewing them on the second to last round of the bonnet and sew about 4-5 stitches along the bottom petal onto the bonnet. Once you have sewn all the petals onto the bonnet, using a long piece of yarn (same color as petals), sew the sides of the petal together to keep them from spreading apart.
