- Tapestry Needle, Scissors and Measuring Tape

- Gauge: 12 Stitches and 10 Rows = 4”x4” (Hdc)
- These measurements are approximated, measure child’s waist and length to get accurate sizing needed.

Make a sl knot.
Open the shorts, join with a sl st at the bottom of the side of the last row of the shorts. Then you are going to surface crochet up the side of the shorts. To surface crochet, you are going to slip stitch on the fabric until round 4.
Fasten off and weave in any loose ends.
Repeat on the other side.
