Meet the gorgeous Seashell Beanie crochet pattern! When I originally designed this beanie, it was going to be for our March 2020 Leither Collection Subscription Box, with the theme Under the Sea. When I designed this beanie, I designed it with a H (5mm) crochet hook. We ended up having to go with a G (4mm) crochet hook for our box this month because of low inventory on the amount of crochet hook tips we needed for our box. I loved how this beanie came out and I didn't want to redesign it with a smaller crochet hook because it would of changed the look of it. So, I decided to keep this beanie crochet pattern and save it as a bonus pattern and design a new pattern for the box and I am glad I did because I got the opportunity to design what is now the Under the Sea Beanie and I love that beanie too!
Making crochet beanies, is one of my favorite things to make because they can worked in the round, easy to pick up and take with you and quick to make too! I hope you love the Seashell Beanie as much as I do!

Let's talk about the yarn that I used to design this beanie. The yarn is called Under the Sea and it has and I hand dyed it with gorgeous shades of blue, pink, green and cream. The yarn is a dk weight yarn but the base is unique from what I usually design with. It is our dk fluff base and it is like a squishy fluffy cloud. I loved not only the working with the dk fluff base but the way that the color pooled when working up the beanie was really gorgeous to see, it was like under the sea confetti.
