When I think of snowy winter days the first blanket that comes to my mind is the Whimsical Chevron Blanket, I don't know if it is the texture, the colors I choose for this blanket or all the above. Chevron Blankets are a huge favorite of mine and I love simple chevron blankets and chevron blankets like the Whimsical Chevron Blanket that has a gorgeous textured twist. This blanket is one of those blankets that once you learn the stitch pattern you can set back and crochet the blanket in no time at all. If you know basic crochet stitches and take your time and learn the special stitches, you will have a gorgeous textured Whimsical Chevron Blanket.

Notes
- Chain 3 will count as a st.
- Chain 1 will NOT count as a st.
- Color Choices: The Sample shown is worked with 2 colors, after row 1, starting with row 2, I alternated colors every 2 rows, but you could use any color combo you like.
- On Row’s 3 & 5: When you work the 7 dc, you will be working in the ch 1 of the ch 3 NOT the dc7tog, if you work the 7 dc in the dc7tog the circle will not line up it will be off centered.
- On Row 4 – At the beginning of the row, it says to “ch 3 and turn (counts as part of the dc4tog), dc3tog”, if you take the ch 3 and dc3tog and put them together they will make a dc4tog, which you will need for Row 5.
